Tier 4 update – Sunday 20 December 2020

Tier 4 update – Sunday 20 December 2020

Turkey and hr hams 008

With the latest updates announced yesterday, understandably some of you may be concerned about collections/deliveries.

As an essential shop, we will continue to trade as normal and this will not affect any pre-orders for Christmas.

Our delivery drivers will carry a letter of consent from ourselves and will follow social distancing – leaving your order on the doorstep and backing away for you to collect, so no contact is needed.

We are fully aware of the problems of lockdown restrictions but trying to cancel part or all of an order is not only morally wrong but could have serious consequences for Greens. Our team has been working around the clock to prepare all orders and orders now cannot be changed.

Anything no longer needed for Christmas can be popped into your freezer. If you lack space we could store it for you until a date in the New Year. Also, if the turkey is too big for a reduced family, we can cut it in half for you so you can cook half for Christmas and store the rest. One of our customers has been doing this for years.

As we’ve practised all year – our staff and customer safety is key. There will be clear signage of where to queue outside the shop, and we’ll ask for only 3 households to be in the shop at any time so we can follow social distancing. Please be patient with us while we work through getting everyone’s orders out safely.
