We know how inconvenient the bridge closure is proving to be. We’d like to thank you all so much for continuing to shop with us by either driving round, walking over, or through a home delivery. Your loyalty has ensured that we have not been seriously affected, although some other businesses are really suffering. We are currently looking at the completion date being extended by upto three months due to an ongoing five week flood problem.
During the bridge closure we have been doing whatever we can to assist our customers from Whitchurch, Woodcote and beyond. If you walk across the temporary footbridge leaving your car on the other side, we are more than happy to assist carrying your bags over for you. Also many customers have made use of their freezers, meaning less frequent visits to the shop but still having our quality meat, pies, sausages, etc.
We already offer a delivery service on Fridays for orders placed before midday on Thursdays, and with the extension to the bridge closure we are adding Wednesday as an additional delivery day for orders placed before midday on Tuesdays in the RG8 0 & RG8 7 areas. *(please check delivery information at bottom of page)
